Ok, Nate and I will be organizing Western Canada's Strongest Man this year and after a few date evaluations etc, right now it looks like the competition will occur on Saturday July 3rd, 2010. The competition will be held in the parking lot of Beily's Pub and Grill here in Saskatoon and we will have a DJ, bleachers, and beer gardens all on site. We will be actively going after sponsors over the next month or two and we'll do what we can do raise funds etc.
Nate has spoken with Hugo and had events reviewed and approved...and this is tentatively what we're going with right now. If any changes occur, we'll post it up in THIS THREAD.
1. Arm over Arm Semi Pull - 20,000# - 80 feet or 120 second max
2. OHP Medley - 150# thick DB each arm, 220# engine block, 250 log, 300 axle, 330 log - 120 second max
3. Vehicle Deadlift - 700# for reps, then 600# for reps at the end for those that zero on the 700# - 90 second max
4. Stones - 235, 260, 290, 330, 365, 400 - 90 second max
5. Medley - 750# tire, 265 farmers, 400 sled all for 80 feet - 120 second max
